The Canada Files launches an Advisory Board

The Canada Files has been a bold, socialist and anti-imperialist news outlet, for nearly three years. First TCF had a myriad of focuses, concentrating on a mix of Canadian domestic and foreign policy. We focused on Canadian foreign policy and colonialism at home and sought to incorporate investigations into our work beginning in summer 2020. In February 2021, we initiated a new step for TCF: To begin the process of evolving toward an investigation focused news outlet which also publishes news analyses, while also publishing some of our articles in French. Now, in September 2022, we’ve expanded our ranks to include some of the brightest minds of the Canadian and international left.

So, The Canada Files is thrilled to announce the launch of our Advisory Board! We thank TCF Contributing Editor Arnold August for assisting us in this process. The seven members are:

  • William Dere

  • Kit Klarenberg

  • Joe Emersberger

  • Jennie-Laure Sully

  • Arnold August

  • Jooneed Khan

  • Dan Kovalik

Signed,

Aidan Jonah

Editor-in-Chief of The Canada Files

Editor’s note: The Canada Files has spent nearly three years doing critical investigative reporting on Canada's imperialist foreign policy. We’ve established a clear track record of exposing the truth Canada's political establishment hides from you. Currently we are at $688 CAD per month in support. There's so much more we can do, but only with your financial support.

Please consider setting up a monthly or annual donation through Donorbox.

Aidan Jonah is the Editor-in-Chief of The Canada Files, a socialist, anti-imperialist news outlet founded in 2019. Jonah has broken numerous stories, including how the Canadian Armed Forces trained neo-Nazi "journalist" Roman Protasevich while he was with the Azov Battalion, and how a CIA front group (the NED) funded the group (URAP) which drove the "Uyghur genocide" vote in parliament to pass this February. Jonah recently wrote a report for the 48th session of the UN Human Rights Council, held in September 2021.
